What's this meme about? Simple - your character (or the character you're threading with, or both of you why not) isn't what everyone thought they were. Maybe they know and are hiding it, maybe they don't and are about to find out. But they're sure not human - or whatever they originally thought they were - that's for certain!

Step 1: What are you?

A: Robotic - Turns out you're a robot, or part robot, all along. Or maybe even an AI in a simulation. 
B: Alien - Did you really think you were from this planet? Surprise!
C: Supernatural - A spirit, a demon, a god, a mythological creature... your bloodline is steeped in magic. Maybe even magic you never believed was real.

 

 

Step 2: Who knows?
 

A: You do. You've known what you are all along, and you've been hiding it. After all, what would the people in your life think if they knew? Or maybe they'd be in danger if they did.
B: Someone else does. This person you're talking to right now knows all about it, but they've been keeping you in the dark about your own body. What's their stake in all of this, anyway?
C: Nobody knows. It's a surprise to everyone!
D: Just found out. You've only just changed, or just discovered something disturbing, and you're trying to hide it, but you really, really need help.
