[Now that he's underwater with no intent of coming to the surface any time soon now that he can actually breathe, it's Karamatsu's turn to take stock of himself. He deliberately ignores what used to be his skin that came off his body like something foreign, replaced with brilliant blue scales that almost seemed purplish if they reflected the light just right. His nails have begun to replace themselves with sharper nails, along with a few webbed points along his forearms that have started to develop. His lower half is just beginning to go numb, lances of pain shooting from that point all the way into his skull and back.
As it stands, looking at himself and how grotesque his body has become on top of how...utterly breathtaking it is, Karamatsu is conflicted. Right now it's hard to find much pleasure in this given how much everything hurts, but even then he can't help but admire how his skin sparkles when he turns his arms over.]
I don't understand...what has happened to us?
[He mutters, somehow not garbled to their ears beneath the water as he looks down at the glimmering scales along his sides.]
